Designed by BE Bearings, manufactured by ARP. These custom made rod bolts are designed to be used on the BMW factory connecting rods in the S65 or S85. BE Bearings worked with ARP to come up with custom rod bolt torque specifications to ensure minimal rod big end bore distortion. BE bolts have been measured and verified to guarantee minimal bore distortion, and stay within the ARP torque specification included within the packaging (includes ARP Ultra Torque thread lube packet).

These bolts work great with all variety of rod bearings for S65 and S85 including our WPC treated ACL sets. They are exclusively what we use in our shop for these engines. These are preferred over OEM rod bolts due to their simple single stage fastening process compared to the multiple step process of the factory bolts. This reduces chances for installation error. Note: The bolts for S65 and S85 are the same, the only difference being the V10 set comes with bolts for two extra cylinders.
